Our Christmas tradition is what the Latin community calls Noche Buena. So Christmas Eve we all get together, we do a big Latin feast. We're throwing down roast, pork, rice, the whole nine.

Tembleque is like a I don't know. It's like halfway between ice cream and pudding.

No, it's a coconut pudding. There's no milk involved. Okay, it's all coconut.

She's the chef, as you can tell. So that's what we do. We hope you're enjoying your traditions right now. One of the things that we encourage you is, during your traditions, you know, make time to love by faith together that's right get in the podcast. While you're wrapping gifts together, guys, don't let her be the one to wrap all the gifts, unless that's your plan and you're doing something as productive and ladies, if he's asking for help, even though it might not be your way or the right way or the right amount of time that you would spend on it, let him help.

He's trying to connect with you hey, if he's asking to help, give him something to do give him the dishes, okay hey, I'm glad I'm always glad to do dishes, because that means she cooked something amazing.

Pack down those boxes, all those amazon boxes, something there's always something you could do on christmas eve help make it better. And the last thing we want to encourage you guys with is, between now and Christmas, right when you're spending your time with everybody else, make sure you sneak some time away just for each other. Oh, christmas morning devotional time, or even at the very end of the night, when the Christmas lights are twinkling and it's just you with a cup of hot cocoa and you're cursing.

Maybe the first thing you want to do in the morning is just, instead of waking up to Christmas music, wake up to some praise and worship music and just have a little bit of prayer time with you and your spouse and just get that moment in. It's not about the minutes, it's about the moments, and there is nothing more merriful than to love by faith with your spouse and to get some kind of connection in there before you have to pour out into kids and family and extended family and friends and all of the other things that go on in these next 24 hours so good, good, if you need time, take time away, call a timeout.
